Can I download the new DL USB software from your web site?
Yes. Download here http://www.timex.com/datalink/software/

Will it download from Microsoft Outlook?
Yes, the Timex Data Link USB software will import data directly from Microsoft Outlook. Currently, only Outlook 2000 and Outlook XP are supported.

I installed the international version, and selected a language other than English, but my mode list is still in English. What do I do?
In order to reset your mode list to your newly selected language, you must delete the main.bin file location in the \Program Files\Timex\Data Link USB\Data directory (or the Data directory located under your installation path)

Will the software work with ACT or other PIMs?
Most Personal Information Managers allow exporting to CSV files. PIM data can be imported via CSV files.

Will the new DL USB software pull the data from my original Data Link (wireless) or Ironman Triathlon w/Data Link software?
Yes, when you install the latest Timex Data Link USB software available at http://www.timex.com/datalink/software/ the software will recognize that old Data Link software is present and ask you if you want your data imported into the new software.

Can I write my own WristApps® or Sound Sets?
Possibly. See http://www.timex.com/developer/datalink/ for more information.

How do I create custom sound files?
Sound files are located in the Sounds subdirectory from where you installed the application. The sounds files are specified in a Windows INI style format. Look at Default.sf for instructions in the Sounds directory as an example.

How do I add custom WristApps® to the software?
WristApps® that you have obtained either from Timex or from other third-party, non Timex supported developers may be installed within the software. To install these WristApps®, copy all the required files to the \App path. They will automatically appear in the Add Mode list. Please note that Timex does not support third party WristApps®.
